v0.1.2.0 - Big update!


-Foreword:

Not much time has passed since the last update and I'm ready to present a new update! I wouldn't say that this update was difficult, but it was definitely tedious. Creating animations is quite a boring task for me, especially because of the perspective, I had to substitute it many times so that the attack from above was not much further, but still it turned out to be something more or less balanced :/. Well, let's get down to the update itself!


-Added:

  • New tool: 

Stone axe . Characteristics are proportional to the stone pickaxe. The only change is that it can mine trees and cannot mine stones.


  • New objects:

(Tag Mined - can only be broken using tools with impact force and the necessary tool. Currently these are Wooden Pickaxe, Stone Pickaxe, Stone Axe).


Stone door . Health x2 to wooden, that is 250.

Stone lump . Mined object. Needed tool - pickaxe. Drops 8 stones when destroyed.

Tree . Mined object. Needed tool - axe. Drops 6 wooden logs when destroyed.

  • Attack animations for each item type.
  • When creating a world, it became possible to set the world seed.


-Changed:

  • Recipes changed. Now recipes you can check in recipes post.
  • Crafting table name changed, now - Builder table.
  • The texture of all tiles has been changed. All tiles now have 3 texture variations (currently same).
  • Player texture slightly changed.
  • Now stones do not appear naturally in the world. Instead of them there are stone lumps.
  • Wooden log spawn chance greatly reduced.
  • Stone wall: Sprite changed (). Health changed from 600 to 500.
  • Furnace: Now all items inside will be saved when exiting the game.


-Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug with layers when hands were drawn above objects.
  • Fixed a bug where when pressing several slots at the same time, items in the hand would stack.


-Plans for next updates:

  • Add multiplayer (unlikely in the next update).
  • Add full-fledged animals with intelligence.
  • Add functionality for soft ore (I have big plans for this ore).

Well, my plans are quite big, so perhaps the update will take a little longer than a week. But this does not mean that small updates with different fixes will not be released. But that’s for later, so see you in the next devlog!
